Sweeney Mechanical Torque Testers SWE 7000 Series
SWE7000 DETAILS
The SWE 7000 Series of Sweeney Torque Testers is designed on the torsion bar principle to quickly test the accuracy of manual torque screwdrivers and torque wrenches. These instruments need not be mounted level or in specific pane for accurate performance. Torque applied to the input of the tester transmits movement to a stay-set indicator which remains on the maximum torque reading obtained until it is manually set to zero. The reading on the scale of the torque wrench is compared with that of the Tester. Accuracy is immediately apparent.
- Accuracy: ±1% of reading (20-100%)**
- Stay-Set Pointer
- Combination Scales Eliminate the Need to Compute Conversion
- Clockwise or Counterclockwise Readings
- Durable
- Portable

* Standard model provided with English units scale. Models can be provided with metric scale by specifying a prefix “F” (i.e., F-7045) for kgf-m or kgf-cm, or prefix “FN” (i.e., FN-7045) for Nm scales.
** The testers will operate in either the clockwise (CW) or counter-clockwise (CCW) direction. The standard model is calibrated to the stated accuracy for CW use only. Full accuracy in both directions is available as an option at order entry.
